May 2, 2015: Another great tour with 12 folks from CT, MA, NH and RI. We had 4 Lawson's tastes, Second Fiddle, Alchemist, Lost Nation, Hill Farmstead and even some home brew from the tour guide.

Lawsons Finest, Second Fiddle, Focal Banger

April 2, 2015: Exciting News - Lawson's Finest is now going to hold back 2 bottles of that week's delivery per Brew Tour guest for purchase at the Warren Store. This means a couple coming on the tour will be able to buy 4 bottles of Lawson's weekly delivery varieties! Thanks Sean!

Feb 17, 2015: March 21st tour is sold out and we are getting bookings every week

Dec 13, 2014: Last tour of 2014 and we are already ramping up for something special from Lawson's Finest for 2015!

Dec 6, 2014: 2nd to the last tour of the year under our belts. The folks from CT and Philly thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were excited at the possibilities with LawsonsFinest for 2015. We even fit in a new stop, Stowe Cider! Check out a social feed of vtbedbrew posts from all over

Let us help you discover some of the country's best craft beer while staying in the beautiful Mad River Valley. Staying in the Mad River Valley puts you right in the heart of Vermont craft brew country. We are located in Central Vermont, not far off Interstate-89, making nearly every Vermont Bed & Brew PackageVermont craft brewery accessible with a short, scenic drive over the river (or covered bridge) and through the woods.

Come stay at one of our bed & breakfasts, hotels, condos, inns or lodges and enjoy the included full-day guided craft beer tour without having to worry about designated drivers!

We've created a very unique package bundled with discounted lodging to give guests an all day tour at select Vermont Route 100 (IPA Highway) craft breweries. The tour picks you up at your lodging choice and drives you throughout Central Vermont, tasting craft beers and snacks along the way. Typical tours are on Saturdays so you can arrive anytime Friday, wake up for breakfast and then be on your way.

Near the end of the tour, guests ask our local guide where they can continue on for dinner or drinks sampling even more unique craft beers (and delicious local foods).

Since our tour focuses on Central Vermont, we suggest considering coming a day early or staying an extra day to take a day trip to other breweries within driving distance including Hill Farmstead, Harpoon Brewery, Long Trail, Foley Brothers, Trout River, Otter Creek, Infinity Brewing, Burlington Beer Company, and many others.

Vermont Bed & Brew: Starts at $99 per person/night1 and includes

  • 2+ nights at a hotel, lodge, or bed & breakfast in the Mad River Valley
  • Private Saturday tour of 4+ craft breweries, a special tasting of Lawson's Finest and a surprise add-on or two
  • 12+ Tastings: Mad River Distillers, Heady Topper, Prhibition Pig, Lawson's Finest, Lost Nation or Trapp, Rock Art, Crop Brewery
  • Hearty snack box with local Vermont treats to get you through the day of touring
  • Mad River Valley 6oz. tasting glass with free tasting at each brewery
  • Local retailers reserve Lawson's Finest Liquids and Heady Topper exclusively for purchase by Bed & Brew guests!

Comments from actual tour guests:

"This tour is amazing because it gives you a look into different styles of breweries, insights into the minds behind the brews, and a taste of vermont. It's an experience that would be tough to recreate on your own, and one of the greatest ideas for a getaway weekend. Who doesn't love relaxing a B&B and then being driven to breweries for a day?"

Albany, NY

"'Tasting notes' would be a nice addition! The tour was run excellently. Everyone involved was both friendly and knowledgeable. We loved ending at the Mad Taco (Pork and Kimchi...YUM!), and meeting Steve. Kudos to all involved!"

Peach Lake, NY

"We thought the whole experience was fantastic! We wouldn't change anything other than possibly making one of the stops/tours a lunch stop as well. It would have been fun to sample the beer with the group over lunch at one of the stops. The food smelled so good at some of the stops!"
