Taking time for oneself on a regular basis is important in the lives we live now a days. Whether it is by practicing yoga, meditating, getting acupuncture or through some other means, these modalities can transform one’s life with more calm, peacefulness, joy and health.
Ana has been teaching yoga since 2002 and has received her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Certificate through It’s Yoga. She is currently doing a 500 hour training with Yoga Medicine. Her classes offer precise instruction on the poses, breath work and meditation in order to guide her students or private clients to a relaxed state of being. She offers group classes as well as private sessions which can be geared to rehabilitation or focused on a particular area the client desires.
Her love of the body and it’s amazing powers led her to acupuncture. Ana was impressed by how quickly her body restored itself with Traditional Chinese Medicine. Our bodies have the innate abilities to heal; however, due to trauma, lifestyle, or age, the our body may stay stuck. Acupuncture reminds the body of its inner power to heal allowing for greater health. Ana focuses on pain (both chronic and acute), stress, headaches, allergies, digestive issues and female and male resproductive issues.
