Swimming
For people used to swimming pools, a mountain stream is really something special. On a warm July day, you’ll see kids jumping off boulders into the cool green waters of the Mad River, just like in the old-time paintings. Take a long swim in the still waters of Blueberry Lake. There are also several indoor facilities that provide opportunities for year-round swimming.
Friends of the Mad River do summertime e-coli counts every other week. See the most recent testing results HERE.
