Mad River Glen
Mad River Glen is a ski area like no other. It’s a place where skiing is still a sport, not an industry. A place where skiing remains an outdoor adventure in a pristine, natural setting.
Mad River Glen offers challenging and diverse terrain with an uphill capacity that guarantees un-crowded trails. It is one of the last bastions of natural snow skiing and snowboarding is not permitted. The mountain layout with a single base area makes it ideal for families. The trails were cut to follow the mountain’s natural contours. There is a special camaraderie among the skiing community, with its co-op ownership, non-commercial, family-friendly atmosphere, dedicated staff, and- of course- the Single Chair, America’s favorite ski lift.
The various facets of the Mad River experience appeal to different skiers in different ways. Together they create a feeling and sense of place that is unique. Come experience Mad River Glen for yourself.
