Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Visitor Center and Café is located in a newly renovated 1867 working Amtrak station, in Waterbury. The Visitor center invites, guides, and shares Green Mountain Coffee Roasters’ passion for coffee through fun, interactive, and innovative technology.

When you visit the Center you will learn about the company – it’s products, the process of growing, roasting, and packaging coffee from “tree to cup”, along with Green Mountain Coffee’s inspiring corporate philosophy of business for positive world change. You will also see a history of Waterbury in photographs.

Then go through the door to the delightful coffee shop and enjoy your choice of flavor of freshly brewed coffee and perhaps a cookie or pastry (or two or three...).

Open daily from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM for coffee and from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM for the Visitor Center. Closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

To get there from the Mad River Valley head north up Route 100 and keep on 100 at the 100/100B intersection 5 miles north of Waitsfield. Join Highway 2 west and go through Waterbury (being careful to observe the 25 mph speed limit) to the first traffic lights. Turn right and the station will be facing you at the far side of the green. Driving time is about 20 minutes.
