Check out the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory Tour where the Best Teddy Bears in the Universe Are Born! Vermont Teddy Bear Company is the largest maker of hand-crafted, American-made Teddy Bears!
On the tour you will see all the steps in conceiving, assembling and dressing these bears, including packing them in their temporary home to be shipped to their new loving owners - boxes with air holes of course! You will be hard pressed to not fall in love with at least one bear in the gift shop and adopt a new family member!

From the Mad River Valley take Route 17 from the south end of Waitsfield over the Appalachian Gap to Route 7. Take Route 7 north towards Shelburne and keep your eyes open for The Vermont Teddy Bear Company sign on your right. Driving time is about 45 minutes.
