Mad River Path

The Mad River Path is a series of walkways in the Valley. This trail system has something for everyone, including the family dog.
The main path is the Mad River Greenway which is located in the nationally recognized Mad River Valley Rural Historic District. The path is 7 feetwide and is a natural path along the Mad River. It offers scenic viewsof the Valley and surrounding Green Mountains. In the winter the path is shared by showshoers, cross-country skiers, and snowmobilers. It can be accessed either from the north or south ends.
There is also a loop beginning at Meadow Road on the west side of the river that takes you out to a pretty shelter with a picnic table.
The Mad River Path trails are managed and maintained by the Mad River Path Association.
