The Second Annual Mad Marathon and Mad Half is scheduled for July 8, 2012 in the gorgeous Mad River Valley in Central Vermont.The course winds through this extraordinary rural community on back and dirt roads, with breathtaking views of the Green Mountains, rolling farm lands, quaint villages, historical barns, covered bridges and fields of our famous Vermont Cows. The course is beautiful but tough: aren't they all!

The race starts and finishes in Waitsfield on the Village Green and runs 26.2 miles through our amazing valley. Register and run a full marathon, the half marathon or form a relay team to do the race in stages. Come see why it is truly The World's Most Beautiful Marathon!
