The Hyde Away Inn & Restaurant has long been a Mecca for road and mountain bikers. Every summer since 1990 The Hyde Away has hosted the Mad River Valley Century Ride, a 100 mile scenic ride through Central Vermont with full sag support, rest stops with food & beverages, and a post-ride BBQ.

The inn is located in the midst of many road bike routes of all ability levels. There is also a popular mountain biking trail with direct access from the rear of the inn. There is a bicycle shop just down the road from the inn for bike parts and repairs.
