Common Man, The

Over 150 years old and one of the most charming and romantic 19th century barn's in New England.  The soaring hand hewn rafters of the timbered interior are lit by crystal chandeliers, soft candlelight, and a huge open hearth manor fireplace in season.  It is both rustic and simple, yet casually elegant, definitely romantic, and has been fixture in the Mad River Valley since 1972!  Now in its fourth decade of continuous operation the restaurant has earned scores of prestigious awards and accolades.
