Wilder Farm Inn
We believe certain amenities should be expected: beautifully-decorated rooms, private baths, extremely comfortable beds, a library filled with books & games, WiFi, digital cable TV in living room, PC w/internet access & guest phone, complimentary port and homemade afternoon snacks.
However, we take pleasure in providing the unexpected: Handmade organic soaps & body gel, ‘smores-making kit by the library fire, scratch-made gourmet fire-side breakfast using local, organic & garden fresh ingredients - Vermont Liberty Gourmet Teas, Green Mountain Coffee, Cabot Cheese & Butter, Farm-Fresh Eggs all served on our own handmade plates, bowls, mugs and pitchers from our pottery studio out back.
Our direct access to the Mad Path and the Mad River offers great fun all year round. Have a float on our river tubes, jump in one of the many swimming holes, go for a walk or run. In the winter, borrow our snowshoes for a scenic winters stroll.
Stop in The Naked Potter Studio & Gallery and take a pottery class while you are here or bring back a special piece to remember your vacation.
We also offer free guided mountain bike rides for our guests and we know the best road rides too!
Relax on the grounds & play on a real Bocce court, toss horseshoes or take a nap in our over-sized hammocks.
We love to share our local knowledge so don’t hesitate to ask us about the hiking, biking, scenic drives, dining, shopping, etc. Our goal is to make your visit exactly what you want it to be.
