Alces Post & Beam primarily constructs timber frames for houses, barns and garages, but also salvages and restores antique barns for use as barns, homes or greatrooms. In addition, Alces builds a variety of other timber structures including greenhouses, porches, trusses, wedding arbors and even woodsheds. Each of their frames is hand-crafted in its Waitsfield, Vermont workshop to suit their customers’ design specifications. Alces also offers a comprehensive design service that can help turn your ideas into a complete plan package, or can work closely with you and your architect to ensure the perfect melding of timber framing into your dream home.
