Mad River Antler creates and builds unique lighting fixtures, furniture and home accessories using the finest quality Natural Antler Sheds from Moose, Elk, and Deer. No harm comes to the animal. Moose, Elk and Deer shed and grow back their antlers once a year. Sheds are recovered in the early spring by hiking into densely wildlife populated areas and/or purchased from professional Shed Hikers from the Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, Montana, Alaska and Canada. Each Antler is carefully hand selected, crafted and sealed to enhance its beauty and character with the profound love and respect for nature. Each Mad River Antler creation is individually handcrafted by artisan Ken Kenia in his studio in Waitsfield, VT.
