The Mad River Valley Chamber brings businesses, residents, visitors, ideas, and initiative together to promote businesses, job creation, and strengthen recreational infrastructure that drives the vitality of our economy.   The Chamber promotes the Valley as a four-season outdoor recreation destination, supports local businesses, and champions initiatives that protect the region’s character and quality of life.

With a full-time executive director and a dedicated volunteer Board, every partnership matters. By working collaboratively with local businesses, nonprofits, and community groups, we help the Valley thrive for businesses, residents, visitors, and future generations.

What We Do

• Create an image and story about the valley that increases visitors and drives economic activity.
• Assure visitors enjoy the visit to the Mad River Valley through information found at the Welcome Center Recreation Hub.
• Provide access to up-to-date information on valley activities, lodging, restaurants, and conditions through madrivervalley.com
• Enhance the skills and relationships among businesses to build the local economic community. Advocate for business interests at the local, state, and federal levels
• Gain support for the valley by advocation for businesses at the local, state and federal levels.
• Support solutions for local business challenges by supporting initiatives for housing, stewardship of natural resources, and overall vitality.
• Provide local businesses with valuable insurance products that enhance benefits for business owners, staff and their families
