Chamber of Commerce

The Mad River Valley Chamber of Commerce is a membership-based organization dedicated to improving the economic vitality of the Mad River Valley.

In early 2017, the MRVCC adopted a comprehensive new strategic plan.  The supporting work plan is underway.  See an overview of the strategic and work plans>>

The MRVCC’s work is funded through the membership dues of businesses, non-profit organizations, and individuals from the Mad River Valley and surrounding area of Vermont.  Direct benefits of membership include a variety of marketing, educational, and networking opportunities.  Learn more about membership benefits>>

As part of its destination marketing efforts, the MRVCC is the official resource for visitor and traveler information to the Mad River Valley.  A new Visitor Center opened in summer 2017.

The MRV-ME program is a voluntary funding program that helps to support local events through grants, based on a competitive application process.

The Chamber community is invited to purchase one or more ‘shares’ in the MRV-ME fund, and participate in the decision process when the event applications are collected.  There are additional marketing benefits for members who choose to contribute to the MRV-ME fund: Read more HERE>>

Event organizers may download the application HERE>>

Applications for 2018 events were due by November 30, 2017, and are now closed.  Congratulations to our 2018 event grant recipients: FIS Telemark World Cup, Mad Marathon, Vermont Festival of the Arts, and Green Mountain Watercolor Exhibition.

Please note, you must be a Chamber member to be considered for an Event Grant award.  Not a member? That’s easy to fix! Join now>>
