Mad River Valley Community Free Wi-Fi

The following locations offer free community Wi-Fi in the Mad River Valley. These Wi-Fi networks are a result of a collaborative effort by Waitsfield and Champlain Valley Telecom (WCVT), the Mad River Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Mad River Valley Planning District. The program is funded by a generous donation from Mad River Valley Real Estate

Waitsfield:

  • Bridge Street Businesses Parking Lot
  • Mad River Green – there is a Wi-Fi access point that serves the Mad River Green (the area where the Waitsfield Farmers Market is located).
  • Mad River Park Recreation Fields
  • Waitsfield and Champlain Valley Telecom Business Office – parking lot at front of building.

Warren

  • Warren Village – there is a Wi-Fi access point that provides coverage between the Pitcher Inn and the Warren Store.

How To Connect To The Community Wi-Fi

  • Connect to any one of the following networks: MRV Free Wi-Fi, Bristol Public Wi-Fi, or GMA Wi-Fi.
  • No password is required to access the Wi-Fi.

Terms & Conditions

To be able to use the free community Wi-Fi, you will be required to sign up for our Visitor & Community Email list. This email list is periodically sent information about happenings in and around the Mad River Valley. You can choose to Opt-Out of the list at any time after joining.

If you do not choose to join our email list, you can only view web pages on the WCVT.com andMadRiverValley.com websites.

Usage

  • The free Wi Fi is not intended for business or home use.
  • Users are allowed to utilize the MRV Free Wi-Fi for more than 4 hours in one setting.
  • Any illegal activity while connected to the MRV Free Wi-Fi is the responsibility of the user.
  • We reserve the right to block usage of the MRV free Wi-Fi at any time for any reason.

The fiber optic connections and internet bandwidth are being supplied, free of charge, from WCVT.
