Cabot Cooperative Creamery to give Cabot Cash

Cabot Creamery Cooperative has partnered with the Mad River Valley Chamber of Commerce to implement the “Cabot Cash” program. Cabot Cash is an incentive for Cabot’s Waitsfield employees to support local businesses upon their relocation to the Mad River Valley.

Mad River Valley merchants are invited to participate in the Cabot Cash program at no cost to them.  Any merchants not wishing to participate in the Cabot Cash program should notify the Mad River Valley Chamber of Commerce at 496-3409.

Cabot Cash will be generated as a small, distinctive certificate indicating its $5 face value on the front with instructions on the back. The Cabot Cooperative human resources department will be distributing Cabot Cash to its 91 Waitsfield-based employees.

Cabot Cash will have no cash value, and no change will be given upon its use. Cabot employees will be limited to one $5 Cabot Cash coupon per visit, though multiple-day visits are acceptable.

Cabot Cash will be valid March 17 through April 30, 2014. Merchants may redeem their accumulated Cabot Cash at the Mad River Valley Chamber of Commerce for full reimbursement until June 30, 2014.

Cabot Creamery Cooperative is relocating its administrative offices to Mad River Park in Waitsfield later this month.
