1st Annual Community Health and Wellness Fair

March 7

Harwood Unified Union School District (HUUSD), in partnership with The Town of Waterbury and The Children’s Room, invite you to participate in our very first Annual HUUSD Community Health Fair, to take place on Town Meeting Day, March 7th, 2023, from 9AM – 12PM at Brookside Primary School Cafeteria. Entry is free, and the first 25 people will receive a pair of Darn Tough Socks.

The purpose of the Community Health Fair is to connect our community to resources and education regarding wellness and good health for individuals and families. The pandemic has left our community disconnected. We see this as an opportunity to both reconnect and reintroduce health and wellness organizations to our community.

Coastal Coping will be hosting a “Teddy Bear Clinic” in The Children’s Room at Brookside. This is intended for children ages 2-8. This will help children with taking the scare out of medical care! Children and families are encouraged to come learn and play about doctor’s visits and routine medical procedures. Please e-mail
kellie@coastalcoping.com to reserve your child’s spot and receive more information!

The Waterbury Senior Center will have lunch available for a suggested donation.

The following organizations will be at the fair:

The Children’s Room
Up for Learning VT
CVMC Community Health Team
Jazzercise Waterbury
Everybody Wins VT
Hannah’s House
Green Mountain Club
Downstreet Housing
Let’s Grow Kids
