An event every week that begins at 6:00pm on Monday, repeating until February 11, 2019
Kick off the 2019 winter season in the warmth of our glass blowing school:
Team up to learn the basics of making glass objects in our Beginner Glass Blowing Class for adults!
This 6-week class (Monday evenings) starts with the basics, from which you progress to making your own drinking cup/s!
This is your chance to learn the foundations of glassblowing, and is especially for beginners and those who’ve tried glass blowing and want to do more!
Learn:
- The basics of a hot shop
- About the safety of glass blowing and hot shop etiquette
- How to gather glass
- The basics of marvering hot glass into shape
- How to blow a bubble
- The anchor qualities of attention, repetition, practice and teamwork
Further your skills over the course of this workshop series to creat your own drinking vessels!
Prerequisites: None
Ages: 17 and older
Maximum: 3 students (sign up with a friend!)
Note: If your schedule doesn’t permit all 6 Mondays, 1 makeup session can be accommodated.
