Explore ice cider, mead, and fruit wines: A tasting & pairing event

Sweeter profile wines are increasingly finding a place at the dinner table and the “dessert” wines are not just for dessert any more. They appear as complements to strongly flavored foods, like artisan cheese or charcuterie, to offset spicy dishes, and as an ingredient in food and cocktails. Find out how else to highlight these wines on Oct. 23rd.
Mary Tuthill of Mad River Taste will begin the evening by presenting some recommended cheese pairings for the featured wines. Then, participants will talk with winemakers, sample their product, and experiment with pairings alongside an extensive array of local foods.
Tickets are $10 for current Vermont Fresh Network supporting members and $15 for the general public.
