April 2, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am

Coffee & Conversation with Front Porch Forum

April 2nd 9 – 10:30 am at the Mad River Valley Visitor Center on Bridge Street

Using Front Porch Forum to connect with local customers
Jason Van Driesche and Lynn Espey of Front Porch Forum will give Chamber members a sneak peek at upcoming FPF features that are designed to make it easier for local businesses to connect with local customers.  They are actively seeking input from Chamber members on how to make FPF as useful as possible for businesses.  Come learn what’s next at FPF, and share your ideas on how to make Vermont’s neighbor-to-neighbor network work for your business!

Jason Van Driesche is Chief Innovation Officer for Front Porch Forum, Vermont’s statewide online neighbor-to-neighbor network, where his job is to find new ways to connect neighbors and build community.  Before that, he spent almost a decade with Local Motion, leading sustainable transportation advocacy and coalition-building for safer biking and walking in communities across Vermont.

Jason is an expert in bringing people together to make their communities better places.  He loves learning from people who are really good at what they do, finding connections among their perspectives, and building solutions to complex problems that draw on everyone.  He has a master’s degree in urban and regional planning and a second master’s in environmental science, both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Lynn Espey is FPF’s Communications Director. Lynn is building awareness of FPF’s social mission across the state. She’s using her 25+ years of marketing and communications experience in Vermont to create strategic partnerships that will help provide every Vermonter the opportunity to participate in a vibrant local FPF. Lynn previously participated with FPF’s statewide expansion in 2013.    Prior to that she was Stowe Area Association’s Marketing Director.
