SPA Yoga Workshop: Restore, Relax, Enjoy

A mindful sensory experience restores and relaxes … like you just walked out of a spa!
No yoga experience required
Engage all the senses with calming candlelight, soothing music, aromatherapy, lots of hands-on assists, neck and shoulder massage, and a renewed awareness of taste (including chocolate!).
The slow-flow, floor-based physical practice of SPA Yoga takes time to open the body’s subtle energy and prepares you to experience new depths of awareness in a Yoga Nidra (a powerful state of being between consciousness and sleep that’s conducive to deep emotional and physical healing, and revitalization).

Requirements: No prerequisites; this workshop is open to ages 16+; it’s kind to beginners and experienced yoga practitioners alike.
Your instructor: Karen McPhillips teaches Vinyasa, yoga fundamentals, cancer-informed yoga, Yoga Nidra, meditation, dharma and SPA Yoga – and fun is always part of the practice. She is certified by Yoga Alliance (RYT 500 and eRYT 200). With just over a year as a Mad River Valley resident and co-owner of Salt & Sand Studios in Warren, she looks forward to sharing the many aspects of yoga and meditation with you.
