Vermont Farm Immersion Program at Hartshorn Organic Farm
July 25 @ 4:00 pm - July 28 @ 1:00 pm
What if you could grow your own nutritious food at home? Maybe you could start a small farm and produce extra for your community. Or, grow and preserve your own food for your family and reduce your dependency on supermarkets. Maybe you could specialize in one or two things and turn them in to a value added product? (Think cabbage, carrots, garlic, ginger, onions, peppers, and kimchi.)
Want to learn from seasoned professionals how to do this? Dave and Amy have over 60 years combined of growing knowledge. From the backyard garden to the commercial field crops.
Spend 5 days with us on the farm during the summer and be transformed. Get educated and inspired to start your own sustainable farm and/or food business, or grow on your land.
The Vermont Farm Immersion Program, Inc. is a 501c3 educational nonprofit organization registered in the state of Vermont whose mission is to inspire, guide, and educate the next generation of farmers and food business entrepreneurs, as well as empower individuals to grow food at home sustainably and with climate change in mind.
