Farewell to Jasmine Bigelow

At the Mad Mingle on May 21st at the Mad River Barn, also hosted by Jamieson Insurance, Chamber members wished Jasmine a fond farewell, and wished her all the best with her new endeavors providing a wedding flower service from her new store in Waterbury.

Chair Peter reflected on the major progress that has been accomplished during the 33 months that Jasmine has been our Executive Director: our new visitor center, our new value based membership investment plan, our new website design with separate visitor facing and member facing home pages, and much more. In particular the very professional and collaborative approach that Jasmine brought to her position has once again given the Chamber a very credible role in the Mad River Valley.

As a token of appreciation, on behalf of the Board Peter presented Jasmine with a specially commissioned custom designed glass bowl made by Spencer of Salt & Sand.  The bowl’s colors are inspired by the design of the updated Mad River Valley logo, another accomplishment that Jasmine took a lead role in creating to provide a common identify for Valley organizations.

We shall miss Jasmine’s leadership, however she has created a great foundation for the Chamber that we can build on for the future under the direction of our great new Executive Director Eric Friedman who takes over in June.
