Featherbed Inn

Late 2019, Karen & Mick Rookwood bought Featherbed Inn.  This 1806 farmhouse is the second oldest building in Waitsfield, and in the 1950s became one of the first B&Bs to welcome skiers from the newly opened Mad River Glen.

Located just outside the town of Waitsfield, the inn is 7 minutes from Mad River Glen and Sugarbush Resort.

True to its name, every one of its 9 rooms has a European featherbed, so comfy for a good night’s rest.

There is so much activity right outside of the inn.  Across the street you can dive into the Mad River swimming hole, ride your mountain bike on various trails or take a hike or snow shoe on miles and miles of land.
