The Mad River Taste Place is a specialty grocery store featuring a curated collection of local Vermont products and other culinary delights, thoughtfully selected to educate and delight. The Waitsfield-based store, located right off Rt. 100 in the Mad River Green shopping center, is stocked with a wide assortment from the makers and growers of the Mad River Valley and across the state — from cheese and meats to local craft beers, wines and ciders — along with also have a sweet selection of maple and honey, hand-crafted chocolates, baked goods, fresh bread and gourmet groceries to stock your pantry. The Taste Place is also the local tasting room for Mad River Distillers. The staff is passionate and well-educated about all their products and the stories behind them.
