Mad Taco

The Mad Taco serves a variety of Mexican dishes. Local meats and produce are utilized when available. The ever changing sauce options let you customize your own levels of heat.  The restaurant has an array of Craft Beers as well. Catering is available as well.

Things have gotten busy, like REALLY busy in the valley. And while it is nice to see so many new people, as well as tons of old favorites, it is getting increasingly more difficult to handle the volume of business. The reality is that we only have so much space in our kitchen and had to look for a logical solution to what is happening. So…

In Waitsfield, for the time being, we will only accept in-person ordering after 4pm.

The phone line will still be open for ordering between noon and 3:59pm, and then it will be turned off promptly at 4pm, and we will focus all of our energy on making you some delicious food and drinks.

So please come on in to the shop to place your order after 4pm, we would love to see your beautiful face! Outdoor and bar seating is open, as well as take-out.

If you would like to place a dinner order in Waitsfield before 4pm for a specific pickup time later that evening, that is totally cool and encouraged. Our goal with this move is to be able to produce the best quality product for you every time!

This change is only for our Waitsfield location; other locations (Montpelier, Essex, Middlebury, and Bolton) will still accept phone orders.
