MRV Co-op Ad Opportunity in VDTM – VT Chamber Inspiration Guide
The MRV Chamber is working to create a unified presence in Vermont’s official travel guide. The goal is to enable Mad River Valley businesses to advertise in the Vermont Tourism Marketing Program under a cohesive Mad River Valley umbrella and to present the MRV as a true year-round destination in the state’s most important travel publication.
Their suite of advertising vehicles promotes your business to the 80 million people within a day’s drive of Vermont. These vehicles have been created in partnership between the Vermont Chamber of Commerce and the Vermont Department of Tourism and Marketing and are the official fulfillment pieces for the state of Vermont. The main part of this will be a full page ad in the Vermont Inspiration Guide, an annual publication. Here is a link to the 2023 guide you can see the MRV presence on pages 45-46 in the Central Vermont section. As you can see we don’t have a cohesive presence.

Our plan is to provide 8 advertising slots under the Mad River Valley banner. Here is some basic information about this opportunity; The cost for each participating business will be $800. By participating in the ad you will also receive a Featured Listing in the guide and digitally for an additional $300 (normal price is a$420).
The Guide is distributed within an international drive market with a population of 80 million at,
- Vermont Welcome Centers
- Vermont lodging properties and tourism hubs
- US and Canada direct mail requests
- BTV, Albany, Logan, and Manchester, NH airports
- Key retail outlets in New England and New York
- Consumer trade shows, domestic and international
