New Chamber Executive Director Announced
The Mad River Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is excited to announce that following discussions with a number of well qualified candidates, Eric Friedman will be the next Executive Director of the Mad River Valley Chamber of Commerce. Eric joins the MRVCC staff after a 24 year run as Marketing Director at Mad River Glen. Eric’s skill set, background and knowledge of the business community ideally suits him to this position. He was a unanimous choice of the board, and we are excited for him to start on June 10th.
The Chamber recently completed an in-depth analysis of how best to serve its membership and the community, and as a result developed a focused strategic plan and a new membership investment structure. The Chamber has made significant progress as it has implemented the strategic plan in the areas of marketing, membership, and member programs. This has resulted in growing membership, revenues and momentum. Outgoing Executive Director, Jasmine Bigelow, has done a fabulous job in her tenure of building a foundation for the organization’s future, and we thank her for all her hard work and accomplishments. We feel confident that Eric is coming in at a perfect time to help take the organization to the next level.
