Public Access on Private Land

Thank you to our generous private landowners for allowing us public access to their outdoor spaces! Usage of their land is a privilege that can be taken away at the owner’s discretion; respecting their land will help to ensure that these spaces remain open for our use for years to come.

Please leave the area as you found it:

• leash and clean up after your dog
• do not litter – pack in pack out

Poor behavior may result in:

• sites being closed to the public
• fines (there is a town leash law, with a fine of $200 per violation)
• individual notice of no trespassing, with prosecution if violated
