Spring

Shhhhhhh… spring is like a secret treasure around here. The transition between winter and summer is quiet, peaceful, and brings out a different kind of beauty in the Mad River Valley. As the snow melts, and the trees bloom, the weather is unpredictable but the fresh air is not! The Mad River has so many things to do in spring. You may be skiing, biking, swimming, or just exploring. But every day is a good day to be here.

Yes, the leaves on our trees turn vibrant shades of yellow, orange, and red in the fall! ‘Leaf peeping’ is a popular Vermont activity this time of year. Here, the fun is in choosing how to take in the view.
