The Mad River Valley offers miles & miles of spectacular road cycling. Our local cyclong organization, the Mad River Riders maintain the best information about road riding route options.

The Mad River Valley is the home to some of the steepest and longest road climbs in the Northeast, including the Lincoln, Appalachian, Roxbury, Duxbury and Moretown Gaps, plus numerous challenging pitches around almost every corner. We are also proud to be the venue for the Green Mountain Stage Race, one of the most prestigious cycling events in New England.
