Cross-Country Ski

Ole’s and Blueberry Lake are the Mad River Valley’s two cross-country centers, both located in the rolling landscape of East Warren. They offer an extensive network of classic and skating trails for all abilities. These well-maintained trails traverse both wooded and open terrain.

Many of the Mad River Valley’s Recreational Trails are open for cross-country skiing and snow shoeing with those along the Mad River providing easy going and great views.

The Catamount Trail is a backcountry ski trail that runs the length ov Vermont from Massachusetts to Canada (think winter Long Trail) and it winds its way though the Mad River Valley.  Check out the map of the MRV’s section of the Catamount Trail.
