The Warren Path

(Download Printable PDF of Hike)

Moderate, 2 miles out and back, elevation gain 420’

The trails feature easy grades in a beautiful mixed hardwood forest, then some more challenging steep sections on the Vista Trail. The view is well worth the effort.

Trail Access and Route: The trailhead for this route is at the Brooks Recreation Field behind the Warren Elementary School off School St. near Warren Village. Look for the trailhead kiosk built by Yestermorrow on the edge of the recreation fields. Follow the Warren Path and then the Vista Trail.

Trail Manager: These trails are on the Eaton Parcel of the Warren Town Forest and maintained by the Warren Conservation Commission, http://www.warrenvt.org/depts/conservationcomm.  The Commission partnered with Yestermorrow whose students designed and built a trailhead kiosk; it provides covered seating with great views and a place for information and education.
